The Key
I found the key—
thought to be broken, it was the fee
A fragment buried, a heavy cost.
I bore the pain of being the lock—
Closed in shadow, bound by thought.
But time had stopped, the door swung wide,
The key has been long gone now, the feeling of it within my hand engraved.
A twist of fate unveiled my sight,
I see it now—it burns so bright.
This love of mine, once locked away,
Now opens doors in endless ways.
She rises high, she stands in grace,
Her heart untouched by any time or place.
She blesses all, the path and the fall,
For love has opened her eyes to see it all
